overview
The primary goal for this project was to redesign the Steve Darrow, LCSW website to provide current and potential customers with reliable information about his psychotherapy private practice.
Steve Darrow, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), is a psychotherapist who specializes in treating adolescents and adults who struggle with addiction and substance abuse. He also offers individual, couples, and family therapy.
project brief
Responsive Redesign. Redesign website in its current HTML and CSS to make it responsive on all devices (desktops, tablets, phones).
Roles: UX / Visual Designer, Content Writer, Front-End Developer
Duration: 8 weeks
Tools: Sketch, Photoshop, Invision, Zeplin, Atom, gitHub
Framework: W3.CSS - a smaller and faster modern CSS framework with built-in responsiveness. Having never coded in javascript/jquery, I was able to deliver a fully responsive website with a mobile first design framework in a few days using tutorials from w3schools.com. (Note: I highly recommend having a basic understanding of HTML/CSS)

SITEMAP AND WIREFRAMES
Design Challenge. I struggled with coming up with initial wireframes since this site was heavily content-driven. My biggest challenge was to gather reliable information from the client. Once I was able to gather this info, then I was able proceed.

Feedback
Feedback from peers, target users, and client using Invision collaboration were used to revise wireframes to fulfill Business/User Goals.

Hi-Fidelity PROTOTYPES
I went through numerous design iterations based on user feedback before finally deciding on a dark brown/green theme.
